How to participate in pre-sale

This guide will show you a step-by-step guide through the pre-sale process.

1. Register on https://blockfood.io/pre-sale

Go to https://blockfood.io/pre-sale and enter your email. Then hit continue.

2. Complete personal information

Go to your inbox and check for BlockFood’s email.

If it does not appear in your inbox, check your spam folder.

If you are still unable to find the mail from BlockFood, verify the email address you entered and try again, or reach us to resolve the issue at contact@blockfood.io .

Inside the mail there is a link called “Next step”.

Go ahead and follow this link.

Enter your information:

First name
Last name
Country of residence

Then click “Validate”.

A summary of the information you provided is displayed. Verify this information.

If you made a mistake and want to correct it, hit the “Modify” button on the bottom left.

If everything is correct, hit the “Confirm” button on the bottom right.

3. Finalize application

One last step and your application will be officially registered.

Now is the time to actually send Ether to the pre-sale smart contract.

Before doing so, make sure MetaMask is unlocked by clicking on the MetaMask button in your browser and entering your main password.

In the form you can see on the last step of the process, enter the amount of Ether you want to send to the smart contract. Minimum amount is 0.1 Eth and the maximum amount is 200 Eth.

Maximum amount and minimum amount are automatically updated given the current smart contract state. Your participation cannot exceed the maximum amount.

Once you entered the amount of Ether to send to the pre-sale smart contract, hit “Apply”.

MetaMask will be triggered and will ask you to review the transaction and submit it.

Here are the values for gas limit and gas price:

Gas limit: 250 000 units
Gas price: check the value displayed in the “Gas price” section

Once you submit the transaction, it is broadcast to the Ethereum network.

The form then waits for your transaction to be included in a new block of the Ethereum blockchain. This can take a while (from 10 seconds to up to 10 minutes).

Then if everything worked properly, you should be redirected to your application status.

If you reload the page during this process, you will see a warning that a transaction is in progress. Follow the instructions if you wish to update it.
