And Alex also participated and brought home first place! The winning project was called DelayShield, a blockchain-based flight insurance that simplifies the flight delay compensation process. Using Chainlink Functions technology, DelayShield offered an uncomplicated way to claim delay compensation, thanks to smart contracts that ensured an automatic process, eliminating manual claims. The secret behind this efficiency? Integration with the Chainlink network, providing real-time flight data. DelayShield promised to eliminate the complications travelers face due to flight delays, making the process more transparent and efficient.

Utilizando a tecnologia Chainlink Functions, o DelayShield oferecia uma maneira descomplicada de reivindicar compensações por atrasos, graças a contratos inteligentes que garantem um processo automático, eliminando reclamações manuais. O segredo por trás dessa eficiência? A integração com a rede da Chainlink, que fornece dados de voo em tempo real. O DelayShield prometia acabar com as complicações enfrentadas por viajantes devido a atrasos em voos, tornando o processo mais transparente e eficiente.
