As we move through the summer, Blockhouse continues to make significant strides in our mission to revolutionize the trading landscape. July has been a particularly eventful month, filled with exciting developments and achievements. Here’s a recap of what we’ve been up to:
Onboarding New Talent
This month, we welcomed six new employees to the Blockhouse family, bolstering our quantitative research and machine learning teams. Our new team members bring a wealth of experience from prestigious institutions and companies, including:
- Quantitative Traders from: HSBC, Societe Generale, World Quant, PGIM, and Bank of China.
- Academic Backgrounds: Alumni from top masters programs in financial mathematics, financial engineering, and statistics from UChicago, Columbia, and NYU.
Their expertise and diverse backgrounds are already proving invaluable as we push the boundaries of what’s possible in quantitative finance and machine learning.
Launching HoodwinkedTrades.com
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our retail product, HoodwinkedTrades.com.
The platform has quickly gained traction, going viral on Wall Street Bets and attracting significant attention. In just the past four days, we’ve achieved:
- Over 200k impressions.
- More than 2,000 website visitors.
- 200 sign-ups.
The rapid growth and positive feedback from the community underscore the value and potential of HoodwinkedTrades. We are excited to continue expanding our reach and helping retail traders optimize their strategies. Attending the Sand Hill Soiree
Our team had the pleasure of attending the Sand Hill Soiree, a premier networking event in NYC hosted by our strategic advisor, Sand Hill East. We extend our gratitude to Andy Brown, Roseann Palmeiri, Neil Chinai, and Hilary Park for organizing and inviting us to such a fantastic event. Securing Major Pilots
We are proud to share that Blockhouse has landed three major pilot projects with major clients, including leading firms in fixed income trading and financial analytics, along with a number of global tier 1 financial services companies. These pilots allow us to access proprietary trade data to train our financial models — representing a significant step forward for our company, validating our innovative approach, and paving the way for future growth and collaboration.
