Offering up to $10’000 for the discovery of vulnerabilities

Zug, 24th of September, 2018 — Today blockimmo announced its public vulnerability reward program designed to expand collaboration with white-hat hackers who improve the security of the blockimmo platform. The program is one of the first of its kind to be announced by a blockchain-powered platform before having conducted a public financing round (ICO) and will be administered in collaboration with vulnerability coordination platform HackerOne, offering rewards of up to $10’000 per vulnerability (depending on the nature of the submission).

“From day one, the importance of cyber security has been an integral part of our business” said Bastiaan Don, Managing Director of blockimmo AG. “We are thrilled to be working a vast hacker community to further continue to secure our critical systems. We are excited to see the diverse ideas, perspectives, and vulnerabilities they can bring to the table.”

In the past month over 100 security researchers had already joined the program’s private (closed) bounty program. The bounty program going public is yet another important milestone on the way to launching the blockimmo platform, any security researcher is invited to join, participation details are available at https://hackerone.com/blockimmo — the vulnerability rewards program is effective immediately.
