Democrat Newson won against Republican John Cox by a landslide. 51-year-old Newsom had been trying his luck to become governor for a decade and has finally succeeded to become the governor of California state.

SEC charges decentralized exchange, EtherDelta, for operating unregulated cryptocurrency exchange — by Ishan

The Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the US charged the decentralized exchange (DEX), EtherDelta, for operating an exchange without registering it.

As a DEX, EtherDelta allows users to trade Ethereum based tokens anonymously and without the funds being stored by the exchange. But according to the SEC, EtherDelta got the users to exchange tokens which it deems as security, thus breaking the law. Read More »

Professor Joseph Liu of Monash University who has worked on the design behind Monero was awarded the prestigious “Researched of the year” at 2018 ACS Digital Disruptors Awards.
