Announcement: Temporary issues in Altcoin payments

Last week, cryptocurrency-conversion company Shapeshift had stopped its permissionless shifty services which were also being utilized by Blockonomics to facilitate alt-coins payments like ETH, LTC, XPR etc., for our merchants.

Due to this sudden and unannounced halt of services by Shapeshift, there has been issues with accepting alt-coins on our Wordpress, WHMCS, Prestashop and Magento plugins too. To resolve the issue, we have been exploring solutions and alternatives which will allow you to re-start accepting alt-coin payments seamlessly soon.

We are close to finalizing the alternative and its implementation in our system will be happening in the coming days. Meanwhile, we request you to disable alt-coins on your admin portal by de-selecting Alt-coin option for a minimum of two weeks.

Instructions to disable Alt-coins:

1) Go to Wordpress Dashboard

2) Click on Settings

3) De-select “Accept Altcoin Payments” and

4) Click on Save.

We hope that the new system should be ready by then and we would keep you updated regarding it as we make improvements.
