Team Blockonomics at Wordcamp’18 Kochi
Wordcamp Kochi’18 was a great event with hundreds of Wordpress enthusiasts assembling from all over India and Blockonomics is very glad to have sponsored and participated in the event.
The event had a lot of exciting talks on everything related to Wordpress from “how to start an e-commerce website with Wordpress” to “Wordpress for Women empowerment” helping the community understand as to what the future holds when it comes to Wordpress and web.
Other partners at the event were prominent organization enabling web with great products like Woocommerce(which is what Blockonomics Wordpress plugin is based on), Jetpack, GoDaddy, rtCamp, BookingX, AppMaker, Veeble.
Prominent speakers included Renjini Narendranath who talked about how WordPress empowers women by sharing her WordPress journey, Ashutosh Gaur talked about 10 Steps to market a WordPress Website, Nirmal Desai talked about WordPress for enterprise publishers and a lot of other great speakers shared their insights about exciting areas of Wordpress. We had the opportunity to showcase our Wordpress Bitcoin payments plugin to the visitors. We received great feedback and also got a few people excited about the product.
Visitors were curious about the installation, how to get started with Bitcoins, how to get a wallet, how to make a payment, how does a checkout with Bitcoins actually look like and a lot more.
Mr. Shiva, CEO of Blockonomics, was also felicitated at the event.
It was a pleasure to interact with them, explain the product and hear their suggestions and feedback about it. We are very happy to have been associated with the event and are looking forward to have more such interactions with the Wordpress community in the near future.
