Ethereum Gas Limit Hits 15M as ETH Price shoots up

Why higher gas limits were needed?

Diggers have raised Ethereum’s gas breaking point to just about 15 million without precedent for a bid to assuage exchange clog when on-chain movement is expanding with ether’s value (ETH) up 2.8% on the day to $2,456.
