Blocksmith — Blockchain development studio

At Blocksmith we build novel concepts and products using state of the art blockchain technologies.

Week in Review

Our team got a merit award in the 1st @NEO_Blockchain dev competition! 🏆
We participated on this competition with a Curriculum Vitae platform that uses blockchain and smart contracts.

It uses NEO blockchain and smart contracts, so that the viewers can automatically verify the validity of certificates, previous employers, etc., with all the assurances provided by a public blockchain. Since the size of the content that constitutes a certificate can vary, we rely on IPFS to store the data. Checkout the source code to learn more.

Be sure to also check the awards page, as there are tons of super interesting projects there: https://neo.org/awards.html

Regarding OSS and CoZ contributions, we’re at the moment working on some big tasks for neo-python, so there aren’t any new PRs. On other news, neo-go is now able to compile some basic smart-contracts, expect more to come from here in the following weeks ;)

Using blockchain to keep a digital passport of cars. Even if you buy a second hand car, you can check its history and not be tricked at sales and stuff.
