BlockSpaces to begin Blockchain and Healthcare sessions

Blockchain technology has really taken hold in some industries over the past couple years. Today blockchain-based solutions are being prototyped, piloted, and deployed within healthcare to demonstrate compelling value across a wide range of use cases from drug supply chain, patient identification, physician credentialing and health information exchange. In response to this growing interest, BlockSpaces will be hold it’s inaugural monthly “Blockchain and Healthcare” session.

These sessions will be designed for interested parties to meet and gain perspectives from experts and innovators on the current status, latest projects, and the transformative evolution of blockchain in healthcare. For the uninitiated, the sessions will start with a review of the basics of blockchain, how it works, and what it can do for healthcare and many other industries and use cases.

For our inaugural meetup, BlockSpaces will welcome Anthony Begando, CEO of Professional Credentials Exchange. Through a partnership with Hashed Health LLC, the Professional Credentials Exchange was formed to address the challenges facing professional identity and credentialing in healthcare. The company is creating a technology infrastructure leveraging blockchain, advanced data management, and artificial intelligence to create a trusted and simplified means for collecting and managing this information across the industry.
