Welcome to yet another Blocktix Development Update. This is number 13 to be exact and while it might be an unlucky number to some people and cultures we’re happy to be moving forward in the speed that we are. The past two weeks we have been mostly concentrating on the development of our Mobile App as so we’ll be able to release it as soon as possible.

Social Media

With our socials growing we’ve had some issues with spam on our subreddit. We’re happy to announce we’ve added the AutoModerator to our Blocktix subreddit and there is now a minimum age and karma requirement to enable posting. These measures will prevent most of the spam and FUD attack’s we’ve been experiencing recently.

As always we invite each and everyone to join our social media channels. These are the perfect way(s) to keep up to date with what we are doing and of course can join the discussion about Blocktix.

If you are not connected yet, you can join our Discord server to explore the features of Blocktix, ask questions or just have a chat with other supporters!

Blocktix Mobile App Update

Two weeks ago we released our Mobile App Alpha. So far a little over 150 people have joined the Mobile App Alpha. Sadly due to administrative reasons we haven’t yet been able to push our invites for the iOS version of the Blocktix Mobile App Alpha however we are happy to announce that we have made a lot of progress on this side of things.

As you all know Apple can be a bit more strict than most other companies but we feel we are making good progress at this point. Those on Android have already been testing the Mobile App for the past two weeks and we’ve seen some good feedback and suggestions come by in our #Alpha on Discord. If you want to join the Alpha as well, simply leave your details at the link below.

* Invites are send out once every 24 hours — Please be patient after entering your details. As per usual you can join our Discord in #alpha for support and discussion.

PollStar Conference

Last week our American team visited the yearly ‘Pollstar Live!’ conference. Pollstar is the largest conference of its kind in the world, and is the place where each year thousands of concert industry professionals and music business executives meet for three days.

We’re happy to report that we’ve had some great meetings and conversations during our time there and certainly feel that we’re on the correct road to the future. Blockchain technologies are a hot item in any industry these days and the Music Industry is of course one of those areas that will be at the forefront of mass adoption of distributed ledger technologies.

Development of Blocktix

Besides working on the mobile app we’ve also begun the development of the Credit Card portal. Another important part to Blocktix as it will make buying tickets on Blocktix possible for anyone, not just those that know how to use crypto. Meanwhile we’re also still working on the development of the Million TIX promotion. More information on the Million TIX promotion can be read in the last update.

In Conclusion

As you can read development is progressing nicely overall. We are happy to have started the CC portal development, and can’t wait to be able to add it to the Blocktix system.

We’ll be back with another update in two weeks of course.
