Welcome to our 16th Blocktix Development Update. Our last Development Update marked the announcement of our first-ever Blocktix Event announcement. If you haven’t read about the upcoming Neverland Festival in the Netherlands yet, be sure to check out our last update!

However, now it’s time to move on to the next update and we believe it’s again going to be a nice one, but first:

Social Media

As always, we invite everyone to keep up to date on our progress and to join the Blocktix conversation on our social media channels:

If you are not connected yet, we invite you to join our Discord server to explore the features of Blocktix, ask questions or just have a chat with other supporters.

New Ambassador

After previously announcing both Everette Harp and Randy Jackson as Blocktix Ambassadors, we are happy to announce the newest member of our team:

With over 75 million albums sold, Kenny G is the biggest-selling instrumental musician of the modern era. In the music industry since 1972, Kenny brings a mountain of experience to the table and we’re excited to work with him on the future of ticketing.

Kenny G is popular all over the world for his beautiful saxophone skills and he is especially popular in Asian countries. In 2012, The South Korean Tourism Organisation even named him their honorary ambassador.

Exchange Listing

We’ve been working hard on another exchange listing for Blocktix over the past weeks. We’re happy to share that we are very close to our next listing at a new and upcoming exchange. Keep checking our social channels as we’ll be announcing our next listing as soon as it goes live.

Development of Blocktix

In the past month we’ve also been very busy again with our development work. We are happy to announce we have completed and deployed the first version of our local/native wallet solution on the web application.

Creating a new wallet on app.blocktix.io

We are currently developing the ‘Event Ticket Sales’ page which includes the feature to withdraw funds. This page will give event hosts insight into their ticket sales and we’ll be adding additional features over time.

Our credit card integration is also something we are working hard on at the moment. We are developing the funding contract for the credit card processing service.

Small updates include the improvement of the unit test coverage contracts and our recent upgrade to Truffle v4.

The mobile app release continues to move forward and we hope to share more good news in the next update.

Be aware the web application is still in testnet — Do not send funds.

In Conclusion

We’re very happy that Kenny G has joined the Blocktix team. Our development keeps moving forward and we are getting closer and closer to the release of our Mobile App. Catch us for the next update!
