Blockzero Monthly Newsletter #04 | What’s all the HYPE about?
Dear Citizens,
This month I have the honor to direct a few words to you. While you will read about all the amazing things going on in Blockzero further down, I’d like to use this opportunity to inspire you to potentially join the ranks of the Core by presenting my story.
I joined the “XIO Network” — as it was called back in 2020 — as an investor like most people. I got to know Blockzero through interviews with Dash on YouTube and immediately noticed his strong ethic, leadership and desire for decentralization which I share wholeheartedly. The goal to create a community of builders where people with great ideas find others with the complementary skill sets to make their dreams reality fascinated me from the start. However, I didn’t have the time to get involved let alone start my own project within Blockzero back then.
Fast forward to October 2021, my situation allowed me to follow Blockzero more closely again. Picking up all the publicly available information about my favorite project Flashstake I started to think about solutions to different challenges the team faced. My goal wasn’t to become a Core member but to help make this exciting project even better using my skills in finance & economics. It was more joy than work figuring out a new economic design and putting together presentations to communicate it effectively. Shortly after, I had a call with Dash and Sean who oversaw economic engineering back then and now I’m writing to you as a Core contributor and member of the FLASH Council with 6 months under my belt…
My message to you: If you see your skills in need, be proactive and get involved! Providing value always pays off in the end, especially in a network of like minded and appreciative people like Blockzero. 👩🚀
$XIO Is Now On Trader Joe!
The XIO/USDC Liquidity Pool is now live on the Avalanche Network! You can now trade XIO for USDC (and vice versa) on Avalanche via Trader Joe. All the pool details are available here. All the XIO held on Avalanche is also eligible to earn future drops such as $FLASH and $KIND.

Blockzero now has a Weekly Live AMA! Every Wednesday, at 4:45 PM UTC, Zachary Dash and Ed Zisk will be hosting a live show to talk to the community and go over the latest news and updates of Blockzero, always with the participation of a different Core Member. Check out the latest one on Youtube.

New Core Member
A new member has just joined the Blockzero Family. Please welcome Ben Azoulay, who is taking over the role of Half Stack Dev for Flashstake. Ben is an Explorer's Initiative Alumni and we are super excited to have him join the team!
Blockzero Labs is thrilled to announce its new project, the Hype Club, a Web3 newsletter that pays you to get pitched by under-the-radar NFT, DeFi, and DAO projects. In short, marketing in Web3 is broken, either being built on Web2 or censored by intermediaries (who still keep the revenue). That’s why we created the Hype Club, a Web3 platform that allows projects to target based on Web3 analytics like wallet history, protocol usage, and NFT holdings.

Over the last month, several new updates have been shared in the Flashstake Channel on Discord. Smart contract development continued and the new Core Member Ben officially started, already working on the front-end. Go-to-market meetings are happening weekly and launch is still planned to happen between Mid-Q2/Late-Q3. Join us on Discord for more updates!

Since the last update, frontend components and the smart contract integration are nearly complete. We also reworked the UI so it will look different to the dapp some of you saw in testnet 1. The UI of the dapp has also undergone a refresh and we hope to share this soon. Stay tuned on Discord for more updates!
