BioIPSeeds in 2017 International Conference of Developmental Biology, Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine — from Basic Research to Application

BioIPSeeds was honored to present the applications of the blockchain technology in the biopharmaceutical industry in the “2017 International Conference of Developmental Biology, Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine — from Basic Research to Application” held in Taipei on September 15, 2017.

In the presentation, we shared our experiences in developing and launching the BioIPSeeds, and briefed the audience on the potentials and benefits of the blockchain technology. For example, the smart contract improves the reliability, quality and reproducibility of clinical trials.

In the aspect of regenerative medicine, BioIPSeeds plays a key role in bringing together experts, researchers and commercial entities from various fields. This function is particularly essential for regenerative medicine, which is, by nature, an interdisciplinary study. For example, CAR-T is generated by combining gene transfer technology with cell therapy; and the stem cells technology seeds on biomaterial scaffolds for tissue engineering.
