Years of hard training and determination regardless of the time have made athletes more skilled than others. However, the results of this hard work must be proven through consistent championship titles.
These three athletes share their experiences on how to become a champion on the field and bring pride to their region.
Oka Dwi Saiful, 14 Years Old
Extracurricular Taekwondo activity in school led Oka to pursue a career as a martial arts athlete. The joy of training and competing on the field motivated Oka to pursue this sport, especially with the support of his parents who always encourage him to continue his career as a Taekwondo athlete.
His hard work paid off with various Taekwondo Championship medals from the Ministry of Education and Sports, the Police, and the Ministry of Defense, earning him 9 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze along with his team.
All of this is thanks to his consistent and tireless training routine, both at home and in the gym.
Not everything goes smoothly in a competition. He often faces difficulties when chasing points while being left behind. Moreover, he has to practice various kicks to strengthen his technique in facing his opponents.
Oka believes that being patient and confident, helps him become a great athlete on the field and face opponents from various backgrounds.

As the saying goes, “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree”. In this sport, Ramy has developed tremendously and even won various sports competitions, such as the 2018 Porpos with 2 gold and 1 silver medal, represented Indonesia in the Archery Competition in Malaysia, and brought home one bronze medal.
All of these achievements cannot be separated from the support of his family, especially his father, who patiently guided him in every training session.
Ramy also stated that a consistent attitude and eliminating temper tantrums helped him play well on the field and face any opponent.
