Inspiring Story of Lintang Aji, a Talented Young Goalkeeper: From Courtois to CR7

Meet Lintang Aji Ratu Alam, also known as Alin, a 12-year-old Indonesian athlete from Pati, Central Java. Alin started pursuing his passion for football at the age of 6 and currently plays as a goalkeeper. He has achieved various accomplishments in different football championships.

Alin has won several tournaments, including the Safin Muria Cup where he secured the 3rd place. Last year, he had a sweet victory as he became the champion of Blispi U12 2022 along with Safin Pati NYXS BLiSPI Cup Champion.

Alin, who is currently in 7th grade at Safin Pati Sport School, admits that he trains hard to improve his performance on the field. He follows the training program established by the school, which includes 9 training sessions per week.

However, Alin also shows his dedication by practicing at home. He sometimes spends his time training with the ball alone, and other times he trains with his father who works as a kitman for Dewa United U-20.

“Training is scheduled at school. I have 9 training sessions per week, in the morning and afternoon. Sometimes I also train alone, and sometimes I train with my dad at home,” says Lintang Aji.

Currently, Lintang Aji hones his skills at Safin Pati Sport School where he has been training to become a reliable goalkeeper for approximately three years.

Dreams

Although he is a goalkeeper, Lintang Aji idolizes a football star in a different position, namely Cristiano Ronaldo. However, he also admires other goalkeepers, such as the legendary Kurnia Sandi in Indonesia and the tall and tough Belgian goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, who currently plays for Real Madrid.

Like any other football player, Lintang Aji has a dream that he wants to achieve. One of his biggest dreams is to play as a professional player for his favorite club, Real Madrid, and also PSIS. He also aspires to be a part of the Indonesian national team someday.
