Muhammad Yuga Mustaqim, known as Yuga by his family and friends, hails from Muaro Jambi, a city located approximately 23 kilometers from Jambi, Indonesia. Looking back at the history of Jambi, there haven’t been many football players who have managed to make it to the national level, with the exception of Andika Kurniawan who played for Persiraja.

Yuga was born in Jambi on August 7, 2010. He started playing football with his friends every afternoon and eventually decided to pursue a career in football professionally by joining a local football academy (SSB).

With his strong determination and ability to constantly improve, Yuga made it to the national youth league competition in JSC Palembang.

Family Support in Yuga’s Football Career

Yuga’s father, Ahmad Firdaus, who works as a security officer in a private company in Jambi, has given his full support to his son. Ahmad struggled to buy Yuga’s football equipments and had to part ways with him for a long period of time.

This was because Yuga decided to join Safin Pati Sport School in Pati, Central Java, Indonesia. Yuga joined this school to focus on his football training. But to overcome his longing for his family, Yuga regularly communicates with them via WhatsApp.

With the moral and material support given by his family, Yuga, who stands at 165 cm tall, continued to perform at his best during matches. One of his best achievements was when Yuga helped Safin Pati Sport School defeat Serpong Jaya in the final of the NYXS BLISPI Cup U-12 2022.

Increasing Training Regimen to Join National Team and Real Madrid

In a conversation with Yuga, he promised to always improve his skills. This is in line with his high aspirations of playing for Real Madrid and becoming a key player for the Indonesian national team.

The number 10 player also admires Cristiano Ronaldo (CR7) who is undoubtedly his role model. In addition to regular training, Yuga added more training sessions in comparison to his teammates to achieve his dreams. Even on Sundays, Yuga, who plays as a central striker, still decides to train.

When asked about scoring the most goals or winning a tournament, Yuga prefers to win the tournament rather than winning the individual title as top scorer.

NYXS, which launched its application on February 14, 2023, is supporting Yuga to further develop his career in the future. Let’s support Muhammad Yuga Mustaqim with NYXS, which you can download from the Play Store and App Store!
