Ronaldo Kwateh

At just 18, Ronaldo Joybera Kwateh is a force to be reckoned with on the Indonesian football scene. His meteoric rise saw him break records as the youngest national team player at an astonishing 17 years and 104 days of age!

Before joining up he cut his teeth in various local tournaments whilst training at Persiba Football School. On February 24 2021,Ronaldo was signed by Madura United FC where he currently plies his trade as a right winger; using his 180cm frame to great effect when deployed closer towards goal too.

An undeniable talent brimming with potential — keep your eyes peeled for this young sensation over the coming months!

The Beginning Ronaldo Loves Football

Ronaldo Kwateh’s passion for football was inspired by his father, Roberto Kwateh, a well known football player in Liberia. However, Ronaldo didn’t have to look very far as he found love and support closer to home with his mother Citra Rusmawati from Yogyakarta who stood behind him every step of the way.

His early career began when he was only four years old joining Selabora Football School (SSB) before quickly progressing through various clubs such SSB Real Madrid Yogyakarta, Pendowoharjo, and Persiba Bantul on an exciting journey eventually leading up to professional level play at PSIM Yogyakarta!

Career Journey

When Ronaldo Kwateh signed with Persib Bandung U-16, his future in professional soccer looked incredibly bright. Platforms such as the Elite Pro competition were just within reach — and it seemed only a matter of time until he shined on them like an Indonesian star.

Nevertheless, since joining Madura United in BRI Liga 1 not long ago, things haven’t gone as planned for Ronaldo: despite being faced with stiff competition from experienced players such Rafael Silva, Alberto Goncalves or Silvio Escobar; Fabio Lefundes’ reluctance to give him playing minutes has meant that he’s yet to score any goals so far during this season.

Yet all hope is not lost! Despite having few opportunities to showcase his talents lately; many still see great potential in Ronald — thus giving Indonesia valid reasons be optimistic about its footballing prospects when comes next year’s matches!

Ronaldo Kwateh is making waves for Indonesia in the U18 National Team training camp! In two trials, he has already scored a remarkable four goals to help drive Garuda’s wins.
