Football is not only played by men. Women also play football professionally.

There are several successful female football players with great achievements, such as Sam Kerr who plays for the English club Chelsea, Vivianne Miedema from the Netherlands who strengthens Arsenal, and the best female football player in 2022, Alexa Putellas who plays for Barcelona.

From Indonesia, there are also young female football players ready to compete in the professional arena, namely Cahaya Maulida and Alleana Ayu Arumi. Despite being young, both of them have achieved remarkable accomplishments. Here are some interesting facts about these two players.

Cahaya Maulida

Cahaya Maulida, a football player from Tangerang, Indonesia, has been interested in football since the age of 8. There are some fun facts about Cahaya. She was introduced to football by her father, who also had an amateur interest in the sport.

Cahaya once missed a training session because of the rain, and she even missed the team bus when they went to play in Bandung. She had to travel with her parents by train to catch up with the team.

Another interesting moment from this player, born on March 4th, 2020, is when she joined a men’s team and played as a winger. Cahaya had to tackle male players to get the ball, but her good dribbling skills earned her comparisons to male players.

However, she doesn’t let this pressure get to her. Cahaya has achieved significant accomplishments, including winning first place in the ASBWI Jakarta Junior Championship 2022 and second place in the Tangerang Selatan Mayor’s Cup in November 2022.

Alleana Ayu Arumi

Alleana Ayu Arumi, or Alle for short, is a prominent female football player from the SSB Rempas team and Club Putri Tangerang Selatan. There are some unique facts about this player born on February 26th, 2010.

Firstly, Alle used to play basketball before becoming a professional football player. She joined SSB Rempas, where she was the only female player on the team, which consisted of male players.

Interestingly, Alle played as the main goalkeeper for the SSB Rempas team, and her training routine was the same as the male players. Alle also didn’t hesitate to direct male players when making a defensive wall during a free kick from the opponent.

Alle once had a funny moment when she faced a penalty kick from the opponent. She put on her stance to make a save, but the ball was kicked too high and went over the goalpost.

Thanks to Alle’s skill in keeping her goal, she won several prestigious championships, including first place in the ISMI DKI Jakarta Cup in August 2022, Best Player U-11 in September 2022, and third place in the Tangerang Selatan Mayor’s Cup in December 2022.
