“I don’t need a guarantee being human is the only guarantee I need” this sentence marked me, I remember hearing it at the age of 14, it was said by Muhammed Yunes a Nobel Prize Winner in Finance, he built an entire bank system based on entrepreneurship when he give people 27 dollars to start a social start up in India with no guarantee they will return the money, Mohammed Yunes changed hundreds of lives in India just by having faith in people and trusting them.

Generally we tend to fear trusting others because we don’t want to get hurt, because we don’t want to get betrayed, because we don’t want to be laughed at, it is very hard to put your trust into someone because you’ve been hurt so many times and the scars are yet there.

If you’re Moroccan, you probably played a little game when you were young, the game consists on holding each other’s hands and turning around, slowly you start to speed up and you get dizzy but you hang on because you don’t want to let down the other person, you’re simply afraid something bad might happen to him and the same goes for the other person, so slowly you start slowing down until you stop and you end up laughing together, that’s called having trust in each other, and that’s something we need so badly these days, it seems to me that while growing up we forgot how to trust each other, it seems to me while growing up we became afraid of collecting more scars, being afraid is good, but not these times, in our era we need trust, courage and standing-up !

Before teaching how to trust each other, We need to teach our Moroccan youth how to trust their guts, heart by making more programs that may help them discover their talents also developing their skills and personnalities, after we learn how to trust ourselves we can then teach how to trust others by encouraging more collective initiatives and team work, we need to fight ignorance, racism and terrorism, show to the world that we are all equal and that we can change this world, we need to teach our citizens that being human is the only guarantee we need.
