4 Ways to Easily Find Perfect Social Media Graphic Sizes

As people change, so do websites. As social media platforms develop and adapt to their users, their users have to adapt to them as well.

Sometimes this is due to design changes. With design changes often come changes to the images we use on each platform. You need to be able to format your sharing graphics, page headers, and profile photos to the perfect size so every image is viewed as you want it to be viewed.

Social Sprout has a couple of tools useful for keeping track of social media image sizes.

Always Up-To-Date Social Media Image Sizes Cheat Sheet

This is a Google spreadsheet that houses the specific pixel sizes for your graphics. Useful if you’re using a tool that doesn’t already have the dimensions for a graphic or image you’re trying to create.

Landscape

Landscape is a tool for cropping your photos down to the best size for whatever it is you what to use it for. I suggest using this first before you add any text or effects of you need to crop a photo. Then build your other graphic content around your newly cropped photos.

Web-based Graphic Design Tools

You can keep track of graphic sizes by checking in with these services even if you don’t actually use them for anything else. Since they’re all in the business of allowing users to create the perfect graphics for various uses, they’re likely to keep their content updated with the latest image sizes.
