Medium Subscript Text and Medium Superscript Format
How to add subscript or superscript text to your Medium story
A subscript or superscript is a character (number, letter or symbol) that is (respectively) set slightly below or above the normal line of type. It is usually smaller than the rest of the text.
Subscripts appear at or below the baseline, while superscripts are above. Subscripts and superscripts are commonly used in formulas, mathematical expressions, and citations, but have many other uses as well.

Superscript
Currently, Medium only supports superscript for numbers. To generate a number, such as ⁶⁵, simply type: 6^ 5 (with no spaces between the 6 and the caret or between the caret and the 5).
