The purpose of festival hopping is to hit as many festivals as possible, with spending as little money as possible. Now this may sound like a paradox, but if you know the tricks you can travel and attend these festivals for a fraction of the price.

A Eurail select pass will get you through up to 4 countries with a total cost of $152 for youth (under 26) and $185 for adult (27 and older). The pass also includes ferry rides in the same countries. The total travel time of the trip will be roughly 20 hours over the course of 2 weeks.

Festival tickets and lodging are different for each festival and will total at roughly $1000 for all 3 festivals. To insure you get the best ticket prices possible make sure to purchase your tickets as soon as that become available. Usually for the first day or two they offer deals to make sure they sell out the festival. If you are unable to acquire a ticket right away, look around on ticket selling websites, 3rd party cites, or social media.
