This month we caught wind of one of Facebook’s more quiet but game-changing launches. It’s a new scheduling tool that comes at the delight of influencers and social media account managers alike. Every social media maven has known the task that is scheduling. Most turn to familiar apps that can get the job done but face some limitations due to third-party Instagram API limitations.

Enter the native scheduling tool. Users with a business account will be able access the new feature via their Facebook Creator Studio dashboard. Upon selecting their profile, users can select “Create Post” and schedule content for either in-feed posts (both single and carousel images) or IGTV. Captions, location, tags, hashtags, and emojis can all be added directly in the tool. Once finished drafting the post, click publish to launch the scheduling calendar.

This feature is for sure aimed at making influencers’ lives easier. It’s all about the streamlined content creation and work flow that Instagram lacked in this regard. With the launch of this new scheduling tool, Creator Studio, and Creator Accounts, the photo and video sharing app is showing some major love to influencers, the folks that helped put it on the map.
