We’re excited to announce that we’ve launched time charts across all influencer profiles on our ACTIVATE platform. Starting today, marketers can view historical performance of all aggregate stats on influencers’ profiles across all of their connected social accounts.

Most influencer marketing platforms show historical data limited to the influencer’s social reach so they can better understand their follower growth over time.

At ACTIVATE, we’ve made the decision to display time charts for all performance metrics available on an influencer’s profile to fit the different needs of marketers. While some marketers want to focus on how much an influencer’s audience has grown over time, other may want to see if their engagement has been consistent over time.

Considerations When Analyzing Time Charts

There are multiple use cases when it comes to making actionable decisions based on influencers’ historical performance data. Below are just a few that is employed by our ACTIVATE Studio team when they are executing campaigns.

  • Identifying up-and-coming superstars — By looking into an influencer’s reach over time, you may be able to identify if they’ve been gaining popularity lately and reach out to collaborate with them
  • Evaluating audience growth and engagement patterns — If an influencer’s audience growth and engagement have significant increases or decreases, it may be worth looking into what’s causing the spikes and dips. Perhaps the creator was featured in media recently and gained a lot of followers, or they’ve been involved in a controversy that affected their audience growth and affinity.
    Whatever the reason is, our time charts will provide you with the specific date(s) of when these inconsistencies happened so you can dive in deeper to see there were content posted during those times that would explain the data.
  • Understanding sponsored content saturation — If you’re considering a partnership with the influencer, we recommend you to look into their sponsored content saturation. If you notice on the time chart that there’s been a spike in the influencer’s paid content lately, perhaps you should consider activating the creator later so that your content isn’t overly saturated on their feed.
  • Finding the best time for long-form activation — When it comes to blogs, readership may be a bit low during the summer months for influencers who are traveling and pushing out less long-form content. We’ve seen blog traffic pick up for some creators in the fall, winter, and spring so those seasons may be the best time to partner with them to ensure that your content receives the the highest readership.
