What’s in store for the crypto market for 2023?

We’re joining the Accelerate Cambridge program

We’re proud to share that our UK team has been accepted into the Accelerate Cambridge program. Established in 2012 by Cambridge Judge Business School, this start-up “accelerator” program aims to enable and nurture venture creation out of the University of Cambridge.

The Director of Technology Ziheng Xiang and Director of Business Development Evan Slattery participated in the welcome and induction session in January and had the opportunity to meet their mentors and network with other ventures.

Ziheng said: “SpaceChain has partnered with Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, to develop further our technology and business towards Blockchain integration in space via its accelerator program Accelerate Cambridge. This partnership with Cambridge will facilitate access to university resources and connections. It also strengthens SpaceChain’s development and business capabilities, opening a good start to 2023.”

Do you know why there is a need for the DSA platform

Acquiring Earth Observation (EO) data is time-consuming, and processing it is even more challenging. To simplify things, SpaceChain is developing the Decentralized Satellite Applications (DSA) — a platform that conjoins multiple data and algorithm providers to create a one-stop marketplace for EO data and services.

Anyone looking for satellite data or applications can use this blockchain-based platform to select data directly from multiple parties without prior expertise. Find out more about the platform, and process flow for accessing space data and services in this blog.

We’re collaborating with SPiN

SPiN (Space products and Innovation) is a startup company dedicated to spinning in technology concepts and developing innovative products for the space industry. SpaceChain has an ongoing development for blockchain integration with SPiN’s MA61C adapter, enabling direct tasking of the camera module from anywhere, at any time. This is how space is connected with the public via web3 tech. We look forward to achieving amazing results with SPiN.
