I recently posted three things for music publishers to look out for in the new Blokur. But what’s in it for music users?

1. Even more repertoire

Over the summer our matching and ingestion systems were in overdrive adding two million new songs to Blokur. You’ll now find information for 25,000 music publishers and more than half a million songwriters. And we’re adding new songs every day.

2. Mechanical-only view

Many of our users in US record labels and streaming services found themselves heading straight for the mechanical rights on the song page. So, we have built a mechanicals-only view for those users that spend their time in the world of mechanicals. Need to go back to the full picture? Not to worry — you can switch back to classic view with a single click.

3. Improved search

As the number of songs on the platform grows, being able to find the song you need quickly and easily becomes even more important.

Based on feedback from music users, we have improved our search algorithm and added exact match functionality to make it easier to find the information you need.
