How have you been, lil one?

Back in 2019 I know nothing about you yet something tells me you are different.

And indeed, one thing leads to another.

Rebranding, working with internal stakeholders, Gen Zs and clients, logo changes, website maintenance, marketing launches and running of Bloomr.SG MCN, Bloomr.SG MCN Accelerator and now The Pinwheels, it has been a hell of a ride for me — and for everyone to get your full name right (ie with ‘dot SG’).

Lights, camera and action have fascinated me since young. How do people know what to say and do next on-screen? What to prepare beforehand to make sure the key message is being conveyed meaningfully and in coherence? Why does social media content get published at certain timings? Which platform works best? When and where do we start planning and getting resources to materialize? Now that I am on the actual side of things for years, allow me to shed some light including on you, Bloomr.SG.

When budgets run low, trust collaborations to be another way for the target audience to build trust. For example, via content creation, brand partnerships, campaign pitches and executions. Only when people are happy will sustained relationships exist. Selling you as a brand has to start from within. Besides the super regular meets to discuss about you, the team makes a conscientious effort to bond through virtual games and makan sessions whenever possible. Yes, one for all and all for one. If you did not get the buy-in from us walking ambassadors, the rest of the world will rarely care.

You cannot talk, I know. W.r.i.t.i.n.g has never been my favorite activity. I still ought to because it is one of the vital tools to let the mass feel your omni-presence (and to earn me a living of course). Design and marketing goes hand-in-hand. I am glad to have worked with very creative people to bring out your emotions and essence. Truth be told, it is never straightforward amongst human beings. There are endless rounds of brainstorming, overhauls, negotiations, fine-tunes and approvals to go through. A constant need to align expectations to resolve issues. All to bring out the best in you.

An upbeat persona amidst changing circumstances over the last 2 years+, are you happy with the ‘quirkily relatable’ image, Bloomr.SG? A work-in-progress status simply, I hope you continue to spin exuberantly and that I have done you proud.
