What do you call the combination of a massive ego, obvious mental illness, and a music “career” that consists of one semi-decent song from 45 years ago? You call it Ted Nugent, and the Motor City Motor Mouth is at it again. Fresh off questioning Joan Jett’s inclusion in the list of 100 Greatest Guitarists, the man who’s not worthy to carry her amps has turned his venom toward Bruce Springsteen. Now it’s personal.

A story on iHeart.com reports that in an interview on The Jamieson Show, Nugent called Springsteen a “dirtbag” and said that he “supports communists.” That’s right; someone who was last mildly relevant culturally when Jimmy Carter was president is slinging mud at one of the greatest artists to ever walk the planet. Springsteen, of course, is too classy to respond to this idiot; I am not.
