Simulators, the mindless games that we see many playing in ROBLOX.
Some simulators are successful, some not so much. Today’s report will be talking about popular simulators, how they work, creators that got popular off of their game, and some theories to why simulators are popular. First off we are going to start off with some creators that are famous in ROBLOX for their simulator games. Let’s talk about the tremendously popular simulator game “Pet Simulator.”
Many know of pet simulator, when it was first made it was on the popular chart for weeks! You pick between a cat or dog then you tap a coin, then your animal picks up the coin and gives them to you.
Sounds kinda boring, yeah, yet it was so popular and so many YouTube videos were being made in the game. The creator of the game became very popular, and has a group called “Big Game Simulators” and it has over 1 MILLION members! Anyway we’ll talk more about that later, back to the subject. The next game is Bee Swarm Simulator.
This game used to be the most popular, above Bloxburg! It still is very popular, but some new games become old to play and less interesting. A major reason people don’t continue to play the game is that your beehive will fill up and then you can’t get any more bees! The most fun part when I played was collecting bees!
Anyway you can buy many items to go in fields and collect pollen for your hive, have your bees make it into honey (which is the currency in the game).
Then you can go to a coin machine and buy an egg.
You can buy new areas, and your bees will fight beasts and get money for you. You can buy eggs (that have bees inside) with robux too, obviously.
Now, we are going to get on the topic of how famous the creators got off of their games. As I mentioned in the last subject, the creator of pet simulator made a simulator group, and managed to get over 1 million members to join!
He has 2 other groups, they don’t have as many members but still a lot.
He even won a Bloxy award!
His avatars name has been changed many times as you will see. He seems to have been on and off on the name BuildIntoGames, but he now seems stuck on that username.
As of now he has over 112 thousand followers!
You can identify his games with a yellow flag in the top left corner of the game picture. Next is the creator of bee swarm simulator! His username is Onett, and hasn’t had any past usernames. He has over 194 K followers!
His group has more members than Flamingo’s group (a famous ROBLOX YouTuber, that has a group of over 1 million members)! Onett’s group has over 4 MILLION members!
His avatar has multiple colored skin with a veteran badge, that means he has been playing ROBLOX for over a year.
Plus Bee swarm simulator is his only game creation, unlike the creator of pet simulator. As you can tell though, it was a pretty good idea he had making the game.
The last subject on simulators will be some theories/general reasons people like simulators so much. My first thought is the general satisfaction of unlocking new items/areas, or whatever you could unlock in a simulator. The second theory is being the best person in the server and feeling good about yourself, like your somehow dominant in that server. Another theory may be that they like when they can buy new things and make more and more and more money, or whatever type of currency the game uses. This next theory is that you can compete with your friends to see who ends up the most powerful, or whatever. These theories seem a little wonky, but some could be true I just have no clue. It’s leaving me blue, but now it is time to say bye boo!
