bloXmove.NG — Beta testing round 2!
The next phase of the beta test program is now live
Last week, we selected five community members to walk through bloXmove’s decentralized app (dApp) for a new mobility in Nigeria. These VIP testers are the first group of participants for the beta test program, and their valuable feedback has helped us to improve the applications and services.
May you ask yourself — why only 5 people? As we informed you in our last update, we experienced a slight delay with the first phase of the beta testing because our technical team needed to resolve some last-minute challenges in the interconnection of Celo testnet to Metamask. This issue was jointly resolved and we are prepared for a smooth next testing phase — which starts now!
The first phase has an international appeal as testers were from various countries. The second wave will even cut across more countries due to the sheer number of testers. We will work with another batch of testers, 30 in total, based on the whitelist applications that came in over the last few weeks.
ABOUT THE LASTEST TEST FLOW:
During the first phase, testers were able to register on the dApp, load the NFTicket, and order rides seamlessly. We tested the app on both Android and IOS platforms, ensuring that it was functional on all devices.
To give you a better idea of testers activities, we have included screenshots of their experiences. Overall, the feedback we received has been incredibly helpful in shaping the future development of bloXmove’s mobility dApp.
THE PRICELESS COMMUNITY FEEDBACK
The testers also gave both helpful close-ended and open-ended feedback. One of the feedback points for example was as follows:
“ After the driver accepts the ride, I don’t get any driver and car details that will help me locate when it’s nearby (car license plate number and make) and a driver detail share option with my family or friend would be a good feature. Though I get these details after the ride is completed. Sorry if I missed the option of seeing it somewhere.”

NOW WE ENTER THE 2ND PHASE
We are thrilled to announce that the second phase of our beta testing program has commenced since Friday the 24th, in which we are working with a total of 30 community members.
This time around, we are employing a more robust beta testing technique to gather even more feedback from participants, ensuring that we deliver the best possible user experience.
As we get closer to the final launch of decentralized mobility for Nigeria, we want to boost our communication channel together with you, and keep you informed of all the latest developments. We value your feedback and contributions that shape our dApp to meet the needs of our users, drivers and mobility partners.
