At Blue Bite we’re in the business of enabling everyday items with the ability to connect. We take the ordinary and make it extra-ordinary. And we do this because we want to change the way people interact with the world.

Since the beginning of time humans have been searching for information, for answers to things we can’t readily glean. Newton wanted to know what caused an apple to fall from a tree; Florence Nightingale wanted to understand the importance of hospital hygiene; Watson and Crick were curious about the genetic mechanisms of humans. At a commonplace level, humans began organizing information in encyclopedias for widespread access. With time this desire for information was made exponentially more accessible through the rise of the Internet. Again, information was revolutionized with the birth of apps, which offered quick, productive information retreival.

Our mission at Blue Bite is to further disrupt the way in which humans gain information. We are excited about changing the way humans interact with the world to make information even more readily available. Our hope is for humankind to dream bigger and be more productive. Our vision is a world where everyday objects seamlessly merge with the Internet, where a tap of a mobile device to an object unlocks a trove of information, utility, and content.

We think beyond the innate purpose of objects and look towards what objects enabled by the Internet can allow humans to do. Our why stems from a desire to change the status quo. To think different about interaction paradigms, and to ultimately allow for greater utility and productivity to spur greater human invention.
