The Blue Equinox Collective
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
The Blue Equinox Collective is an informal group of initiates of OTO that are dedicated to manifesting what is colloquially known as the “Blue Equinox Model.” [NOTE: there is no relation to Blue Equinox Oasis in Detroit — they are named after the same book].
The Blue Equinox Model is a model for the mission & growth of the OTO, based around documents that were first released in The Equinox, Volume III, Number 1 (a.k.a. Equinox III:1) which was blue in color, hence the “Blue Equinox.”
The essential idea behind the Blue Equinox Model is that the OTO is meant to be a model for a new society based on the Law of Thelema, i.e. not just a “magical order”, nor just an occult philosophy club or a small social clique. The central point is that OTO is a model for what a Thelemic society would look like on a grander scale, and that OTO is an engine for making that ideal into a reality. Generally, this implies a focus on organizational growth, outreach, and generally discussing how best to manifest Thelema in an organizational context. Many of us have been engaging in private conversations about these ideas for a while, and we thought it would be beneficial to make some of these conversations public.
This collective is entirely informal, so the way to “join” is to work toward the same mission in your area. We encourage all members who are interested to participate in this Grand Experiment, to push both locally and globally for the OTO as a New Society so that we might move toward a world ruled by the Law of Liberty.
