By adding these small and consistent habits in your daily routine, you can create a positive impact and big improvement in different aspects of your life.

It works for me and it might work for you as well.

1. Practice Gratitude.

When you wake up, take a few minutes to reflect on the things you already have. This could include your family, loved ones, friends, job, the food on your table, the roof over your head, or simply the gift of a new day. Thereā€™s no need to write these thoughts down if you find it time-consuming; just think about them. Doing this can boost your mood and shift your focus from what you lack to whatĀ youĀ have. It can also help you feel happier and more content before starting your day.

2. Read more.

Whether itā€™s a book, or if you donā€™t have a physical book on hand because youā€™re at work or elsewhere, consider reading an e-bookĀ instead, or maybe articles on your phone, or read on medium app. Thereā€™s a lot of alternatives and ways to read and fill your mind with ideas, informations and different perspectives. It can also widen your imagination, knowledge and understanding.

Here are some additional book recommendations that you might want to read:

  1. ā€˜ā€™365 days with self disciplineā€™' by Martin Meadows
  2. ā€œ48 Laws of Power" by Robert Greene
  3. ā€œAtomic Habits" by James Clear
  4. ā€œThe Power of Habit" by Charles Duhigg
  5. ā€œThink and Grow rich" by Oliver Napoleon Hill
  6. ā€œThinking fast and Slow" by Daniel Kahneman
  7. ā€œDeep work" by Cal Newport
  8. ā€œThe 5 AM Club" by Robin Sharma
  9. ā€œThe art of quiet and influenceā€ Jocelyn Davis

10. ā€œRich Dad Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki

3. Start working out.

Trust me, the moment i started working out, my outlook on life also changed for the better. Start slowly, perhaps begin with walking, then gradually add 3lbs dumbbells while you walk. Later, you can also try adding jumping jacks or squats on your routine. Do it regularly until it becomes a habit and you can do it effortlessly. Inspiration is the key! Seek out some good inspiration, personally, i get inspired by listening to motivational audiobooks, podcasts, and self-concept affirmations while exercising. It helps a lot, believe me! And it also enhances both my mood and mindset.

4. Get enough rest.

Rest your body!!!!

This may sound basic but we usually take it for granted. One common reason is that we prioritize work and other activities over ā€˜restā€™. The modern lifestyle, which heavily involve the use of smartphones, laptops and other gadgets, often distract us and prioritize these devices over sleep and rest. Irregular sleep schedules, inconsistent bedtime routines, excessive caffeine or alcohol consumption can also affect your bodyā€™s sleeping patterns which usually leads to insufficient rest and is has a negative effect on your overall health.

5. Be mindful of the food you consume.

You are what you eat.

This is from my personal experience, I used to hate vegetables! I donā€™t drink enough water, I love sweets, I enjoy eating junk foods and fast foods andā€¦. I had a lot of acne on my face, my skinā€™s dull, my hairā€™s dry, my lips chapped and my mood is bad. My acne breakout got worse, I have tried a lot of skincare products but it just didnā€™t work. I changed my diet and boom! Magically, my skin, face, and overall appearance improved. And, Iā€™m going to share this secret. (I drink ginger and lemon tea every morning and i think that plays a big part of clearing my skin and acne naturally)

6. Stay low-key.

Practice Privacy.

Keep your private life private. Avoid posting and sharing too much information about yourself, your life and your goals on social media.

Is is more challenging or more likely you wonā€™t achieve your goals and plans when you announce them publicly because you may receive feedback and validation from others and it will trick your brain into feeling accomplished already, you will feel that simply sharing the goal is enough and it may reduce your motivation to work towards achieving that goal. And knowing that others are aware of your goals may increase the fear of failure, external pressures and distractions. So it is better to keep it to yourself and announce it after you achieve them.

No matter what youā€™re pursuing, whether itā€™s a new job, starting a business, travel plans, relationship, diet, or starting to exercise, work in silence for your peace of mind, avoid distractions, no pressures and expectations, no evil eyes, less stress, more focus and personal growth.
