Zumba Zumba Zumba!

Today I took a Zumba class, first thing in the morning. It’s a glorious summer June day in 2024. Lots of sunshine and heat.

And I took a Zumba class in the morning.

I left the class, feeling full of sunshine myself.

Here’s what happens to me, after a Zumba class:

My brain releases all kinds of endorphins like dopamine and serotonin, during the class. Because I have to be focused on the choreography, I don’t have time to think or talk, about anything else. Like my woes, or worries, or frustrations.

Funny enough, it seems somewhere in the back of my brain, that work keeps going, while I dance it out.

Which leads me to the next thing that happens to me, after a Zumba class.

Extreme problem solving

Just like after a good night’s sleep, after a really fun Zumba class, suddenly I figure out solutions to problems I’ve been trying to solve.
