When someone attempts to lowball you right from the start

I recently had a phone call, from a young lady. Let’s call her Rebecca. Who did something, I haven’t seen in a really long time.

Let me tell you about it.

Rebecca left me a voicemail that started with “Hi there!” and went on to list out what she was talking about. She ended on a nice note.

Me being in cybersecurity, immediately my guard went up because

Who greets someone with “Hi there!”???

Apparently, Rebecca does. Apparently so do many young women.

Apparently — so does an AI model.

Here’s where things get even weirder.

I called the number back.

Turns out Rebecca wasn’t an AI. She was a real, live, young lady.
