There’s this song I’m currently listening to. Shining by Korolova, featuring Ekko. Homg friends…so good! It’s about perseverance through the darkness. Let the light shine through. And probably a lot more.

Walking through Camden Town

In my twenties, living back home in London, I’d wander through Camden Town, down the Regent Canals. Taking it all in, this life, this world. And I’d dream about becoming a writer. Silently. All the thoughts in my head. All the sights I’d already seen. Being so quiet and mousy, no one could hear me speak. So I’d keep it all to myself.

The light inside of me.

Driving through Kanu

As a child, in the backseat, watching the dry lightning light up the dark savannah, at midnight in Africa. Dreaming, even back then. Of a language made of stars. And light.

The darkness all around me.

And a light inside of me.
