An Endless Cycle

Poetry

Photo by Emiliano Arano from Pexels

I was doing good, was on some fun shit
Was loafing less and doing more
I thought this phase will last forever, it didn’t though
I hit the top a few times
And I used my time fine
You know, I even made it two months without crying

I guess, you never know
And if you’re sailing high then take a look below
And if you never fall you never gonna grow
And it’s alright now
Then what’s the point don’t you think so?
An endless cycle, failing and trying is the rule
And if I had any clue
I would’ve told you
