Big River

Big river flows gently towards sea
Trout run through its gentle flow
Exotic foliage cover river banks
Cranes dive to catch trout
Happens at early morning light.

Sun reflects off river face
Cranes swoop from above
Occasionally trout is caught
Breakfast for a lonely crane
Big river continues gentle flow.
