Broken Spirit
A poem

Pray tell me Edgar,
When did you realize,
That more would respond to pain,
The tears welled up in eyes.
They ignored the jovial smile,
The genuine joy and glee,
In favor of the bleeding wounds,
The damaged heart inside of me.
Pray tell me Edgar,
When did you realize,
That more would respond to pain,
The tears welled up in eyes.
They ignored the jovial smile,
The genuine joy and glee,
In favor of the bleeding wounds,
The damaged heart inside of me.
