Dear Corporate America

A poem.

You used me and ran me into the ground,
you made me move to different towns,
you told me this new job would pay me more,
yet it oftentimes would be a trick door.

A trap, a tale filled with lies,
but alas, I no longer want to be surprised,
I don’t want to be just another number anymore,
I’m done walking through trap doors.

You tossed me to the side when it helped your profit margin,
you’re always looking for the best bargain,
Well, I’ve got some news for you,
Corporate America, I’m done with you.
