Dowry! Dowry! Dowry!
That sounds like glory,
A present by parents in wedlock,
For the daughter for the future clock,
As it is known presents given in the dowry are a surprise,
There is no mention of any price,
Regret! But nowadays this dowry becomes the bid of the groom,
It's a bitter truth for the lovely bonding of bride and groom!
