Earth’s vibrations growing louder
Heard by beings around the globe,
Extreme weather keeps appearing
Nature’s weather patterns aberrations
Cold and snow on usually sunny beaches.
Heat waves in Artic and Antarctica
Ancient glaciers now breaking apart
Oceans rising to record new heights
Wildfires ravaging across the land
Hurricanes, tornadoes more ferocious.
Earth rebelling against pain it feels
Human desecration of its sacred nature,
Injecting increased carbon in clean air
Dumping waste and sludge in its waters
Cutting and razing myriad ancient forests.
Environments deserve human conservation
Or earth’s rebellion will grow more fierce
Protecting nature’s gifts, our responsibility,
Earth’s vibrations continue growing louder.
