Faking a Smile

my lips, craving a smile
all my eyes do is cry
the clouds never leave
in my eyes
it’s never July

I did let the words out
when they asked why
pulled down
the window
but words can’t fly

they say I lie
yet all I do is try
to live life in style
hey, how do you
fake a smile?
