i was taught many things at school
how to read, write,
solve math problems,
and understand english grammar like a ninja.
but I wasn’t taught
the important things
like how to stop my mind
from racing
into a pit of hellish thoughts
and how to hold on to
my sanity and peace
when the storms
are ever raging
inside me
i wasn't taught
these goddamn things
now I live
in the goddamn hell
