Incommunicado
I haven’t heard a word.
It takes two to have a blue,
Or engage in conversation,
Covid though has quelled the tongue.
And tonguetied the nation.
One day it’s teeming cats and dogs,
The next day it’s a drought,
Are my friends asleep like logs?
I just can’t work it out.
