Is This The New Normal?
The surreal changes of the COVID-19 pandemic sink in.
Today I went for a short walk to a small grocery store near my apartment complex. There weren’t many people inside, so I put my mask on and went in. I made small talk with the cashier I’ve known for all the years I’ve lived here, and a thought struck me: things seem almost normal again.
