Ten superfoods to add to your diet to ease depression
I’ve been depressed on a few ultra sad occasions in my life.
I describe the feeling of depression as a state of mind, thereby not ever letting it define me, as a person. Just like happiness, I’m not always defined as happy either, and that’s totally okay too. Life is a balancing act, after all.
Being depressed is a heavy feeling, so deeply hollowing of our mind that eating healthy is usually the least most attractive thought each day.
No matter how many people are fully supportive around you, once you’ve given in to your mind, you’ve just about given up on your life as a whole.
But what if you gave yourself another chance to try something new and actually focus on its goodness rather than your badness? Because what have you actually got to lose when you feel like you’ve lost every ounce of self-worth already?
Enter the superfoods — now they can be defined as happy — because everything about them is good for you; naturally derived, nutrient-dense and low on calories.
Ignore the negative automatic thought, oh but they are probably all pricey!
