Let me be enough,
At least for tonight.
Let me take your pain,
Let me take the fear.
I can see the screams,
I can hear the blood,
Despite all your might,
They’re still in your sight.
Please let me erase;
Let me try tonight.
Let me help tonight,
I can soothe your pain.
I can see the wounds,
Gaping in the dark.
Let me fill the chasms,
And replace with peace
The terror mixed with ire,
Let me calm the fire.
Let me be enough,
At least for tonight.
