My heart’s name is joy
A poem of hope
let me write today
my heart’s name is joy
a beautiful peace has come to me
a calm deep within showers on me
a sense of stillness settles in me
on this wonderful day
in the solo dance of new beginnings
till the dawn of another journey
my heart knows everything will be okay!
Author’s note: If you have been following my stories you know today is a new beginning for me — starting a new job in a new country and believe me this is like a dream come true. My heart knows nothing but joy and I swear I felt it somersaulting the whole day today as I sat on my desk with all my newly acquired IT supplies & went through my day grinning the whole time. At the close of day 1, I am overjoyed and feel grateful for this opportunity. I am peace, my heart is joy and I feel content.
